The following are terms and conditions for all offers in The Spotlight Book. By purchasing The Spotlight Book you agree to abide by these rules:
- Offers are valid until 31st December 2009 unless voucher states otherwise, and are subject to availability.
- Each offer carries unique terms and conditions of use. All users are asked to check carefully for valid dates, times and age restrictions. If in any doubt please phone the establishment directly.
- All discounts and offers in The Spotlight Book require presentation and surrender of a valid voucher. Amended, photocopied or defaced vouchers will not be accepted.
- A reservation is essential when redeeming a restaurant offer unless otherwise specified. Offers may not be redeemed without a valid reservation. Please mention The Spotlight Book at the time of booking and when asking for the bill. Dining offers are subject to availability.
- Where restaurants have a bar, offers are valid only for people dining in the restaurant. Inclusion of drinks ordered from the bar in the final bill is at the restaurant's discretion. Where the discount is off the food bill the discount is applied only to food items on your bill and not to drink items. Service charges may or may not be applied to the total bill before the discount is deducted.
- Surrender your voucher to participating business to receive your discount. You may not combine the offer with any other promotion, offer, or individual or group discount unless otherwise specified.
- The Spotlight Book offers no endorsement as to the suitability of an establishment, or the quality or availability of any service, food or drink. If you are dissatisfied with the service offered to you, please take up any complaint directly with the establishment concerned. We will review reports regarding very poor service, but we cannot act on your behalf in pursuing any complaint or claim.
- The Spotlight Book will not be responsible if any establishment refuses to accept The Spotlight Book voucher. However, if informed, it will make all attempts to secure compliance.
- Any use of an offer in violation of these rules will render the offer void and The Spotlight Book reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available by law.
- Prices are subject to change without notice and are correct at the time of going to print.
- Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and are not for re-sale.
- Vouchers are not valid on major holidays, including those below, even if the offer states that it is valid at any time: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. If in doubt please check with the establishment concerned.
- All merchant information is correct as of 11th November 2008.
- A full refund will be honoured for books returned under the 30 day money back guarantee. The returned book must be unused and in resellable condition with all vouchers fully intact. Email sales@thespotlightbook.com for more details.
- Should a party be unable to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control (such as fire, acts of terrorism, flood), then the provisions of these terms shall be temporarily suspended. If the event continues for more than 3 months, the affected party may terminate immediately.
- We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions by posting changes on our website.
- The Spotlight Book and its offers are intended for the personal use of the individual purchaser of the book and are not valid with other discount offers unless otherwise specified. The use of this book or any of its offers for advertising purposes, in any form or fashion, is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorised by The Spotlight Book. No failure, delay or waiver by The Spotlight Book enforcing or partially enforcing any of its rights under these forms shall constitute a waiver of its rights hereunder.
