Message from Councillor Mike Rusbridge, Mayor of Tunbridge Wells
It is with enthusiasm and excitement that I write in my capacity as Mayor of Tunbridge Wells to fully endorse and support The Spotlight Book. I am very proud to be associated with it and I hope that we will all do what we can to make this a popular and effective fundraiser for schools and charities across the borough.

Tunbridge Wells charity voucher book soon to be on sale
Tunbridge Wells Courier, October 2008
Reg Singh, Business Owner, Downtown Fish Bar
I think it's a great project. We had 3 people come in to use vouchers from The Spotlight Book in the very first week. The book is helpful for our business and it also helps charities. I like to do what I can to get involved with the community. I bought a book and also bought some for friends and family in Pembury and Rusthall. I'm looking forward to using all the vouchers. Once my wife and daughters get hold of the book they'll probably spend most of them!
Sharon Harrison, Fundraiser, Bidborough School
Parents are amazed at how quickly they recover the £10 outlay. They are impressed with the range of places they can use vouchers and there’s something for the whole family: Glazy Daisy is really popular for kids’ parties and there’s lots of foodie places for the parents. I’ve bought a book myself and can’t wait to start using it. A quarter of Bidborough School parents bought a book in the first month before they could even use them and word of mouth is spreading the news fast. I would recommend it to other organisations looking to fundraise.

I am keeping track of my savings and am already in profit after 1 voucher as I got £10.20 off a meal at Pizza Hut! I am looking forward to using the vouchers the rest of the year. My son has picked out the Bowlplex voucher for his birthday party and is looking forward to going to Evolution Climbing too.

January's normally quite a tight month but I've already saved over £20 using just 2 vouchers so I've definitely made back what I spent on The Spotlight Book. I'm really looking forward to having meals in places I don't normally go. My brother doesn't live round here but he has got his sights set on coming down to use some of the vouchers as well!
We'd love to hear what you think of the project and may feature you on these pages. Email us at sales@thespotlightbook.com
