Different offers are appropriate for different businesses. As one of our team puts it: "whatever you think will get people through your door"! Where appropriate a discount of 25-50% is usually a popular offer that will encourage people to come and visit your establishment.

This decision is typically based on the nature of the business, the established reputation of that business and the value of the offer.

How can we get involved in selling The Spotlight Book?
Nearly half the schools in the local area are already participating and selling books to raise funds, as well as local branches of several charities such as Mind, YMCA and Samaritans. To find out more about how you could raise money for charity selling The Spotlight Book please email us on sales@thespotlightbook.com.
We are also working with businesses that are interested in raising money for good causes and are delighted to have one of Tunbridge Wells' largest employers Axa PPP promoting the books to its employees already. Are there any costs involved?
No. It costs nothing to give it a go and spread the news of how you can access £1000 savings for just £10. All marketing material is provided free of charge and no minimum number of sales is required.
How much will we make per book?
You will keep £5 for your good cause from every £10 book you sell.

How long do the vouchers last?
The vast majority of vouchers last until the end of December 2009. 3 or 4 vouchers expire in November.
What sort of discounts can I get?
We have a real variety of offers: some are for 10% - 50% discount, some give 2 for 1, some give you something for free - no minimum spend required. 70 of our 120 vouchers offer a saving of £10 or more so chances are you will recoup the £10 cost of the book when you use your first voucher.

Are there restrictions on offers?
Yes in some cases. In particular, restaurants sometimes cannot afford to give such generous discounts at peak times so can be used Sunday-Thursday only. Many vouchers have no restrictions. It is essential you check each offer's terms and conditions and if necessary phone the establishment to avoid misunderstanding.

Can I use an offer more than once?
Absolutely, but you will need a new voucher each time. If you have found an offer so good you want to use it again and again, stock up on copies of The Spotlight Book and you’ll have vouchers to last you all year! Just check the back as a couple of our businesses have restricted their offer to one voucher per customer. If in any doubt please check with the business concerned.
What if I'm not happy with The Spotlight Book?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Simply return the book to us unused and in a re-saleable condition and we will transfer £10 to your bank account (conditions apply - email sales@thespotlightbook.com for more details).
